Spring Cleanup Notice
Ridgway Borough will conduct the annual Spring Cleanup on Monday, April 20 – Friday, April 24, 2026 from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
There will be a container at the Ridgway Borough Annex off of State Street where borough residents may haul and dispose of items at no charge during this week only.
The Borough will not accept any tires, electronics or contractors/construction debris.

Leaf Collection Notice
The Ridgway Borough Office advises borough residents not to rake leaves and yard waste onto borough streets. The Borough requests leaves be raked to the curb and the borough will remove them during leaf collection scheduled to begin October 22 – November 21, 2025.
After November 21st, there will be a charge to pick up leaves raked to the curb.
The Borough is providing biodegradable bags free of charge at the municipal building that you can set out to the curb for pick up by the borough or take to the compost facility yourself.
The compost facility is staffed and open on Tuesday’s 4 p.m.-7 p.m., (starting Nov. 1: Tuesday hours will be 2 p.m.-5 p.m.) Friday’s 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Saturday’s
8 a.m.-3 p.m.
The last day the compost facility will be staffed will be Saturday, November 8, 2025.
After November 1st, the gate to the compost facility will be open Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. to haul your leaves to until Friday, December 5, 2025.
Please call the office at 776-1125 x 1 to schedule pick up of bagged leaves after December 6, 2025.
