Regarding Appeal No. 06-21

Dear Property Owner:

An application for a variance has been filed with the Zoning Hearing Board by Martin Fannin . The property is situated in the R-1 Suburban Residential Zoning District and is located at 605 Stonehedge Meadows .

This request, if approved, would authorize a variance to the height regulations for building a garage . Accessory structures in residential districts shall not exceed 16 feet in height. The proposed height of the garage is 19 feet . The Zoning Hearing Board has authority and, under certain conditions and safeguards, may grant the request. 

A public hearing will be held by the Zoning Hearing Board on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 , at 5:00 PM. The hearing will take place at the West End Fire Hall. (321 W. Main St.)  You can present your views at the meeting, by writing or by a representative.

Regarding Appeal No. 07-21

Dear Property Owner:

An application for a variance has been filed with the Zoning Hearing Board by The County of Elk . The property is situated in the C-R Commercial-Residential Transitional Zoning District and is located at 300 Center Street

This request, if approved, would authorize a variance to the setback requirements for the construction of a building addition . The side yard setback requirement in the C-R Zoning District is 10 feet. The proposed side yard setback is approximately 6 feet . The Zoning Hearing Board has authority and, under certain conditions and safeguards, may grant the request. 

A public hearing will be held by the Zoning Hearing Board on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 , at 5:00 PM. The hearing will take place at the West End Fire Hall. (321 W. Main St.)  You can present your views at the meeting, by writing or by a representative.
